Monday, the independent politician, Sabah Al-Agaili, revealed new details regarding the file of land distribution in Anbar Governorate, and while he described the case as “theft of the second century,” he confirmed the existence of information incriminating 18 personalities in the case that will affect Halbousi.
Al-Aqili said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, that “the file of the distribution of land plots in Anbar Governorate is currently describing the theft of the second century,” stressing that “the most involved in the case is the brother of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muthanna Rikan al-Halbousi.”
He pointed to “the involvement of the head of real estate registration in Anbar and five other employees, who were arrested by the Federal Integrity Commission,” noting that “there is a recruitment warrant for the Anbar governorate accused of wasting public money under Penal Code No. 340, in addition to its development in the distribution of plots of land.”
Al-Aqili added, “There are figures with the Integrity Commission confirming the existence of more than 180,000 plots of land, not just 60,000, as well as what was found in the possession of the director of labor unions, Muhammad Adnan, which is represented by the presence of one and a half million and 400 forged retirement IDs.”
And the political analyst stated, “There is information confirming the involvement of 18 personalities in this deal, which will greatly affect Muhammad al-Halbousi,” noting that “the numbers that were proposed could exceed the deal of the century, which was announced during the reign of the Al-Kazemi government.”
Today, Monday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the recruitment of the governor of Anbar on the background of committing financial irregularities and illegally distributing plots of land in cooperation with an influential political party in the province.
