Al-Halbousi’s office had stated in a brief statement yesterday that “the Speaker of Parliament has received the names of the candidates for the cabinet cabinet for the vacant ministries.”
MP Toumeh Lahibi, in a press statement, said that “tomorrow’s session will likely witness the completion of voting on the rest of the ministries,” noting that “despite the absence of an official thing, all data indicate a vote to complete the ministerial cabinet.”
Al-Lahibi added that “a meeting of the heads of the blocs with the legal committee on the election law will precede the session,” noting that “Parliament has resumed its work by holding sessions and a vote will be taken on the borrowing bill because it is very important in the current period.”
In turn, MP Ali Saadoun Al-Lami also suggested that tomorrow’s Saturday session be allocated to voting on the rest of the cabinet, in addition to discussing the borrowing law.
Al-Lami added, in a press statement, that “the data, among which the Speaker of Parliament has received a list of the names of candidates for the vacant ministries, indicates that the Saturday session will include voting on the rest of the cabinet, in addition to discussing the issue of the law that was sent from the government to authorize internal and external borrowing.” .
Al-Lami indicated that “Parliament is now continuing its work during this period, because it is required to end the election law and vote on it, and after that the President of the Republic ratify it and publish it in the Official Gazette,” noting that “an upcoming meeting will be held between the Legal Committee and the heads of the blocs to resolve the issue of multiple circles in a law The election”.
In turn, Member of Parliament Kata Najman said, “The agenda of the Saturday session has not been announced yet, but there is information that the ministries can vote to complete the ministries.”
A parliamentary source revealed yesterday the final version of the names of candidates for the seven vacant ministries in the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
The source stated to {Al Furat News} a copy of it that “the candidates are {Fouad Hussein} for the Kurdistan Democratic Party for the portfolio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, [Salim Governor] for the Kurdistan National Union, for the bag of the Ministry of Justice, and (Hassan Nazim) for the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, and Evan Faek for the Ministry of Displacement and Migration.
