Rafidain Bank announced on Tuesday record-breaking results in electronic collections, exceeding 816 billion Iraqi dinars.
A statement from the bank, received by Al-Maalomah News Agency, indicated that “record-breaking results were achieved in electronic collections during November 2025, with settlements processed for government departments exceeding 816 billion dinars through 72,046 electronic settlement transactions.”
The statement also noted “the expansion of the number of government departments activating the electronic collection system, reaching 2,334 departments compared to 1,130 departments during the same period in 2024, reflecting the government’s reliance on electronic collection services.” The
bank affirmed that “these achievements are the result of joint government efforts and the development of the bank’s digital system, with a focus on increasing collection efficiency and ensuring its accuracy and speed.” It further explained that “the bank continues its role in supporting digital transformation and enhancing transparency in the government financial sector.”
