The State of Qatar condemned on Wednesday the repeated Iranian attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait, with the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stating in a statement that “the State of Qatar strongly condemns the repeated Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, considering them a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the two countries and a flagrant breach of the rules of international law.”
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stressed “the need to spare the region the consequences of unjustified attacks,” emphasizing “the importance of continuing the path of dialogue and diplomacy, de-escalation, and building upon the gains achieved within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, in a way that contributes to consolidating security and stability at both the regional and international levels.” The Ministry reiterated “the State of Qatar’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, and its support for all measures taken by the two countries to preserve their sovereignty and security.”
