The Prime Minister’s Advisor for Transport Affairs, Nasser Al-Asadi, stated on Tuesday that the government has prepared detailed designs and tender documents for the development road, while indicating that qualified companies for the development road project will soon be invited to participate. Al-Asadi told the official agency, “The government is currently in the process of conducting detailed designs, preparing tender documents, and evaluating companies to implement the development road,” indicating that “the qualified companies to participate in this project will be announced soon.”
He also confirmed that “the project’s tender will soon be available to companies wishing to invest or those wishing to enter through a contractor, in accordance with the economic vision set forth by the project consultant.”
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani had previously directed “immediate attention to developing integrated theoretical and structural formulas for managing and operating the development road, and completing the legal and technical requirements in accordance with established procedures, ensuring that developments in the use of modern techniques and technologies are kept pace.”
