Postponement of Barzani’s visit to Washington to “appropriate time”

Twilight News / Kurdistan Region Presidency announced that the visit, which was scheduled to be paid by the region’s president, Massoud Barzani, on Friday, to the United States to meet with President Obama was postponed because time is “inappropriate”, without identifying them later.
The head of the Presidium of the region, Fouad Hussein, responded in a statement for “Twilight News”, Barzani said on Friday received a telephone call from U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
He added that the communication referred to the visit, which was scheduled to be paid by Barzani on Friday to Washington to meet with President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, noting that the latter expressed his regret for not doing the visit of the fact that time is not right.
He said the two sides stressed the necessity of conducting a visit at an appropriate time later, without reference to the new date.
He noted that the two sides discussed bilateral relations, stressing the continuation of the friendship between America and Kurdistan and the need for cementing.
He noted that the last contact to ensure a hub attached to the situations, especially the Iraqi security situation, relations and negotiations between the federal government and the provincial government.
He also noted that the two sides stressed that the current phase is the phase-sensitive, arguing the need to maintain contacts and exchange of views between Washington and Arbil.
