The head of the Popular Movement’s regulatory body, Hussein Ali Jassim, accused the president and prime minister of perjury on Monday, pointing out that there is a clear violation of the Iraqi constitution in the case of ceding Khor Abdullah.
Jassim said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “Iraq, with all its sects, rises up in support of the Federal Court, and what Al-Sudani and Abdul Latif did represents perjury and high treason.”
He added, “The Public Prosecution must take action on the case, and if it does not, we will file the complaint ourselves.
” Jassim explained that “the Federal Court will have the final say on the 30th of this month, and we will support the court’s decisions regarding the ceding of Khor Abdullah.”
