Secretary of State Pompeo revealed in a tweet to him on Twitter the most prominent points he spoke with Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi in a phone call on Sunday evening,
where Pompeo stated that he welcomed Allawi’s promise to hold early elections calling for the fulfillment of his promise And its application on the ground, and
stressed the commitment of the United States of America with Iraq and Pompeo said that I asked Allawi to stop using violence against demonstrators and hold those responsible for the violence accountable
He added in his tweet that I asked him to take urgent steps to respond to the demands of the demonstrators.
