Today, Thursday, independent politician Mahmoud El-Hayani suggested that the voting session on the cabinet will be postponed until Monday due to the lack of agreement by the political blocs on ministerial portfolios.
Al-Hayani said in an interview with “Al-Maalouma”, that “the political blocs that were standing in the way of forming the new government are now obstructing the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, in completing the ministerial cabinet,” adding that “it is likely that a session on Saturday will be postponed until Monday to vote on the cabinet.”
He added, “The Prime Minister-designate now bears the burden and consequences of the previous phase and the political crises that afflicted the country.”
He continued, “The political blocs that opposed and delayed the formation of the government for a year, are dying today in order to obtain positions in the ministerial cabinet.”
He pointed out that “the obstruction that some parties are working with now is for positions, and is considered a victory for the parties that await the formation of the government from the coordination framework,” adding that “any delay in forming the government will cost the coordination framework out of the street with stronger demands than it was previously.”
The leader of the State of Law coalition, Turki Jadaan, had previously spoken (information), that “it can be said that at least 10 bags will pass in next Saturday’s session, and perhaps more,” stressing that “more than one session was held to complete the vote on the cabinet of the Prime Minister.” The taxpayer is not a cause for concern.” Ended 25/J
