Political analyst Qassem Al-Tamimi saw, on Thursday, that Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi has reached the autumn of his political life after losing many of his fortunes, pointing out that this character will pay a heavy price during the upcoming elections.
Al-Tamimi told Al-Maalouma, “The survival of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi with this strong political influence is very unlikely, as his influence has weakened a lot during the recent period, especially with the people’s rejection of this personality in Anbar.”
He added, “Al-Halbousi has reached the end of his political life, and it is expected that he will not obtain acceptable results in the provincial council elections to be held at the end of this year.”
And he indicated that “all the facts lead to results that al-Halbousi or his political party do not wish for, especially after he lost many of his fortunes with the people of the western provinces and did not fulfill their demands, which he promised to implement during the last period, and therefore he will pay a heavy price.”
