Today, Thursday, Kurdish politician Muhammad al-Bayati revealed that the US Deputy Secretary of State reprimanded Masrour Barzani during his visit to America.
Al-Bayati told Al-Maalouma, “The US Deputy Secretary of State, Ozra Zia, rebuked Masrour Barzani during his visit to America, as she accused him of responsibility for the suppression of the Kurdish people.”
He pointed out that “the recent events are a prelude to ending the rule of the Barzani family in the region,” noting that “the American court summoned Masrour Barzani as a result of his numerous crimes.”
Al-Bayati pointed out that “the departure of the Prime Minister of the Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, to the United States of America comes within the framework of mediation to resolve the outstanding problems with the federal government in the capital, Baghdad.”
It is noteworthy that the Kurdish blocs refused to vote to expel the Americans in 2020, only at a time when everyone knows that the relations that Erbil has with Washington are more important than Iraq and its interest.
