The Secretary-General of the Bayraq Al-Khair Alliance, Muhammad Al-Khalidi, said today, Wednesday, that the Taqadum Party, headed by Muhammad Al-Halbousi, is no longer effective.
Al-Khalidi told Al-Maalouma, “Al-Halbousi lost all his cards in the House of Representatives, and lost his support for the position of Speaker of the House.”
He added, “Progress is close to the point of no return, with its insistence on obstructing the holding of any session to resolve the issue of electing a speaker for the House of Representatives.”
He continued, “Most political forces deal with the candidate for this position, Salem Al-Issawi, as the future speaker of the House of Representatives.”
