Political analyst Sabah Al-Taie said that the cancellation of the draft law on emergency support for food security by the Federal Court represents a setback for the Triple Alliance, which insisted on passing this project, pointing out that the aforementioned coalition has no choice but to sit at the dialogue table with the coordinating framework.
Al-Taie told Al-Maalouma, “The data confirms that the parties to the tripartite alliance were seeking to pass the draft law on emergency support for food security with the aim of sharing the spoils with the parties involved in passing it, and this is what made this coalition insist on moving away from the coordination framework to ensure an achievement by its legislation of this law.” .
He added that “the sums obtained from the aforementioned law may be intended to buy some receivables to ensure that the Triple Alliance passes its candidate for the presidency, and to get out of the bottleneck to form a government and exclusivity of power away from the participation of the coordinating framework.”
And Al-Taie, “The Federal Court’s decision regarding government decisions and the abolition of emergency support represents a setback for the Triple Alliance, which insisted on passing such a law, while it was possible to include an exaggeration in the budget to support food security and the affected segments, as it became better to sit at the dialogue table with the framework coordination to ensure the formation of a government that guarantees the rights of all its participants.”
