Political analyst Sabah Al-Agaili confirmed that the Prime Minister received the full support and backing of the Coordinating Framework forces to confront any party or bloc that proves its involvement in corruption, pointing out that the support of the framework should give the Sudanese greater courage to face any challenge in the project to eliminate corruption and the corrupt.
Al-Aqili told Al-Maalooma, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani has taken good steps in combating corruption, and it is noticeable that there is no immunity for anyone in this file.”
He added, “Al-Sudani received full support from the coordination framework, which pushes him towards proceeding with the anti-corruption project and arresting the corrupt and holding them accountable, as no corrupt person will get political support from parties or blocs, especially since the prime minister has received support to proceed with his project.”
And he indicated that “Al-Sudani’s affiliation with the coordination framework, which is the largest bloc in parliament and the strongest politically, could be a motive for achieving the demands of eliminating corruption, in addition to the support of the framework forces for him, which is supposed to make him more willing to confront any party or bloc that proves its involvement in corruption issues.”
