The Parliamentary Labor and Social Affairs Committee confirmed, Tuesday, that the House of Representatives seeks to reduce the expected deficit in the 2021 budget to 40 trillion dinars.
A member of the committee, Fadel Jaber, said in a statement to “the information”, that “the House of Representatives seeks to reduce the percentage of the expected deficit in the 2021 budget to 40 trillion dinars from the percentage included in the draft law, which is an exaggerated percentage,” noting that “the House of Representatives will continue its sessions.” Related to the budget debate ”.
He added that “the work committee seeks to include contract employees, lecturers, and those responsible for decision 315 within the budget,” noting that “including that paragraph is necessary in achieving justice.”
