A parliamentary source revealed on Saturday that investigations are ongoing into those accused in corruption cases, confirming that judicial orders will soon be issued against government figures convicted of financial and administrative corruption.
The source told the Information Agency, “Investigations are still underway with those accused in corruption cases, and judicial orders will soon be issued against government figures convicted of financial and administrative corruption.”
He added, “The Speaker of Parliament has called on members of Parliament and parliamentary committees to support the government in combating corruption, regardless of the official’s position, and not to tolerate any case related to public funds or abuse of power.”
The source indicated that “the coming days may see new names put forward in Parliament to lift their immunity, paving the way for legal and judicial proceedings against them in accordance with legal procedures.”
