Member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, revealed today, Saturday, that the committee is busy preparing a draft of a proposed law to expel American forces from Iraq.
Al-Moussawi told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The draft law needs solid legal materials to preserve the country’s sovereignty and expel all foreign forces from Iraq, including the American ones.”
He added that “the law will be presented in the House of Representatives after the completion of the preparation of the draft by the relevant committees.”
He pointed out that there is a request signed by more than 100 members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives to legislate a law to expel foreign forces from the country.
