The Rapporteur of the Legal Committee of Representatives Hassan Tauran, on Monday, the continuation of parliamentary sessions during the next week to complete the completion of important laws and not to be deported to the next session.
“There are many laws sent by the legal committee to the presidency to vote for a long time,” Turan said in a press statement, noting that “some laws delayed the existence of a political dispute, including the Federal Court Law and is unlikely to vote at tomorrow’s meeting.”
He added that there are some amendments to some laws, including the first amendment to the law of property disputes, and amend the law of commissioners in the Electoral Council and increase the number to 11 instead of 9 members, as well as subjects related to judicial supervision, “pointing out that ‘there are some articles that have been challenged By the Federal Court and completed the Legal Amendments’ Committee.
“The presidency is clear by inviting MPs to attend the session to pass the laws,” he said, noting that “the presidency has to announce the agenda to bring the Iraqi people to it.”
He called for the continuation of the parliamentary sessions during the next week to complete the completion of important laws and not to be deported to the next session in addition to discussing some of the regulatory matters, including the security situation in some areas, “stressing that the need to ‘put the relevant committees recommendations to the Government to take some precautionary measures to improve The security situation’.
He explained the decision of the parliamentary legal committee , that ‘legally the sessions of parliament continue to the end of the legislative term, but in practice after 10/4, it is difficult to hold a meeting because it will start election campaigns and the preoccupation of candidates in the election campaign’.
