Al-Salami said in a statement to “Al-Mutalaa” Agency, “When the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq, was appointed to the position by Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani by proxy and not in person, for a period of 6 months, knowing that this period had passed, he did not issue a new order to him or remove him from the position and appoint another person.” “.
He added, “In this case, the Sudanese committed a legal and constitutional violation,” noting that “the request he submitted to host the Sudanese in the House of Representatives has not yet had a date set.”
He explained, “The bank governor did not perform the task he was assigned to, and he was negligent in his work. The issue of the dollar and its high prices negatively affected the citizens, and he was unable to find solutions to it.”
