The Finance Committee of the parliamentary, on Wednesday, the suspension of all financial and banking dealings with the Kurdistan region of Iraq, as part of a package of measures decided by parliament against the referendum on the secession of the province.
The Commission said in a brief statement, received by “Sky Berry”, based on “Article (59) and Article (138) of the Iraqi Constitution, the Finance Committee decided to stop all parliamentary banking and financial with the region and the parties in force to abide by these decisions, namely, the ministries and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers The General Retirement Authority, border crossings, banks and customs. ”
“In order to maintain the reserves of the Central Bank prohibits the sale of foreign currency to banks in the region and its branches and implement this decision as of the date of approval.”
