Parliamentary Finance Reveals Its Observations About The Budget And Intends To Host The Government

Earth News / Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed its observations about the draft budget law, while confirming its intention to host the government.
A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mustafa Al-Karawi, said in an interview with Earth News that “until now, the budget has not officially reached the Finance Committee from the Presidency of the Council, because the Presidency has been busy passing the election law.”
He added, “The observations that currently exist are on the exchange rate or the price of oil compared to the exchange rate of the dinar, given that the revenues generated today may be inaccurate due to the fluctuation of the oil price.”
He continued, “For this reason, there will be a host of the government in order to clarify its mechanisms and procedures in dealing with this issue.”
And Al-Karawi indicated that “there are political differences at first regarding passing the budget for three years or calculating the percentages of regions and reconstruction funds, and these are all media pressures so far that we have not seen clearly because the budget has not arrived.”
