The representative of the Al-Fateh Parliamentary Bloc, Rafik Al-Salhi, suggested, on Sunday, that the parliamentary session be announced this evening to be open to complete the interventions of the representatives during the second reading of the draft budget.
Al-Salihi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “although there are no deep differences and intersections, as happened in previous budgets, the political blocs have many observations, in addition to a number of representatives.”
He added, “Most of the observations that will be focused on are related to the possibility of reducing the fiscal deficit in the budget by reducing ruling expenditures, public debt, and tax regulation,” suggesting that “the discussion session of the draft budget law will continue to be held until the next day or after, provided that the session is open due to the interventions of political forces.” And the many deputies, and therefore the second reading cannot be completed in today’s session.
And the Presidency of Parliament had announced the allocation of today’s session, Sunday, for the second reading of the draft federal budget law.
