The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Rafik Al-Salihi, confirmed, on Wednesday, the parliamentary committees’ readiness to receive the draft budget law, indicating that the project will be subject to careful discussion by the members of the parliament before voting on it.
Al-Salihi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “all governorates look to the House of Representatives in order to expedite the approval of the budget because they suffer from many problems at all levels, foremost of which are services.”
He added, “The draft budget law will be subject to careful discussion by members of the parliament before voting on it.”
Al-Salihi pointed out that “meetings and workshops will be held within each committee with those concerned in order to make a transfer if necessary,” noting that “the submission of the draft budget law for three years is positive.”
It is noteworthy that this is the first time that the government has referred a draft financial budget for three years, as it is customary to refer budget bills for one year only.
