Today, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee revealed that an expected ministerial reshuffle will be carried out by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
The Vice Chairman of the Committee, Mohamed Al-Baldawi, told Al-Maalouma, “Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani will begin a new phase represented by carrying out the ministerial reshuffle according to the data of the Ministerial Evaluation Committee that Al-Sudani formed before the provincial council elections.”
He added, “The process of conducting the ministerial reshuffle will be announced soon, as the evaluation of the work of the ministries determined the extent to which each ministry carried out its duties in the government program voted on by the House of Representatives and the timings that were determined for the completion of each paragraph.”
A source in the Prime Minister’s Office confirmed to Al-Maalouma earlier that the ministerial reshuffle will be gradual and not through a single package, but in total there are four to five ministries in which the ministers received a low rating.
