MP Mukhtar Al-Moussawi confirmed today, Thursday, that the results of the population census will be announced with complete transparency and integrity, and it is not possible to tamper with them, while pointing out the importance of the results of this census.
Al-Moussawi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “The results of the comprehensive population census will be transparent and highly honest, and no manipulation will occur in them, especially since they will be within strict electronic systems,” indicating that “this information will be highly confidential and will not be leaked or disclosed for any reason.”
He added, “The results of the population census will be of great importance as they will determine the investment budgets of the governorates in a fair manner according to the real population ratios, in addition to revealing the real rates of poverty and unemployment, and will also reveal services and their shortage in different regions. Therefore, the census is of utmost importance on the economic and developmental level in the short and long term.”
The Ministry of Planning confirmed earlier that the population census procedures are proceeding smoothly and completely, and no case has been recorded that would affect its implementation process so far.
