On Tuesday, the representative of the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Shammari, expressed his surprise at the behavior of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi in delaying sending the budget and his insistence on passing political laws, calling for revealing the real reason behind hiding the budget.
Al-Shammari said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, “The Presidency of the House of Representatives received the draft budget law more than a week ago by the government after it was voted on by the Council of Ministers. Gets “.
He added that “there is no convincing reason behind not sending it to the concerned committees in the House of Representatives,” calling on “Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and the Presidency of the Council to reveal the real reason behind not referring the draft general budget law to those committees.”
Al-Shammari pointed out that “the majority of the members of the House of Representatives strongly demand to refer the budget immediately and distribute its draft to the members of the Council, and then include it in the nearest session of Parliament.”
