Today, Sunday, Member of the House of Representatives, Suhaila Al-Sultani, revealed the details of the ministerial evaluation report that was prepared by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, while confirming that the evaluation has not reached the House of Representatives yet.
Al-Sultani said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The ministerial reshuffles are coming, but the time has not yet been determined, given the many points that must be taken into account in the change,” noting that “the evaluation intended to be sent to the House of Representatives is still in the Prime Minister’s Office.”
She continued, “There are some large ministries in which the evaluation has not yet been completed as a result of the many details and branches on which the ministerial evaluation was built,” noting that “the evaluation has not reached the House of Representatives yet.”
Al-Sultani concluded her speech: “The coming period will witness sending the report to Parliament in order to vote on the ministerial changes that will receive weak evaluations,” adding that “the results will be coordinated by the committee specializing in conducting the evaluation.”
The Sudanese government had adopted the principle of comprehensive evaluation of the performance of ministers, their agents, and general directors as part of efforts to make changes consistent with its program, given the heavy legacy left by successive governments, most notably the previous Al-Kadhimi government, of working in the agency system instead of originality, and the continuation of some of the agents and directors for more than ten years.
