The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bashir Al-Haddad, confirmed that Baghdad and Erbil are close to reaching a fair agreement.
Al-Haddad said, “The negotiations between the region’s delegation, which is visiting Baghdad, and the federal government are continuing on the outstanding issues and financial dues,” indicating that “the two parties are close to the agreement, and we hope to reach a fair agreement that is in everyone’s interest and commitment to implement its provisions.”
