Parliament authorizes the Ministry of Finance to borrow from the central bank to cover the deficit

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network ( IMN ) Chairman of the Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary Jawad al reported that the House of Representatives authorized the Ministry of Finance to borrow from the central bank to meet the fiscal deficit in the budget.
He said al-Bolani’s ( IMN ), “The budget explained the steps taken by the government and Ministry of Finance on the borrowing issue that if internally or externally,” asserting that “the situation in Iraq Financial is not borne out of bankruptcy, as expressed by some political circles, but a temporary financial hardship.”
He pointed to “the existence of alternatives to address the financial distress, which follow the barter system, it is possible to import the ration card through the system, instead of purchasing and output of hard currency,” pointing out that “this is part of the solutions, where we have agreed on the development of the private sector, which anchor is important to the economy of Iraq. ”
Bolani called the state and its institutions to “strongly oriented investment.”
Parliamentary Finance Committee and confirmed earlier that the central bank of the budget support six trillion dinars came to fill the deficit.
