A member of the Integrity Committee in Parliament MP Alia Nasif, revealing the existence of serious fraud in the budget approved by the House of Representatives.
Nassif said there is a catastrophic paper added to the budget items relating to Kurdistan without going through the members of parliament.
“Today, more than 24 signatures have been collected by members of the House of Representatives to investigate serious fraud in the budget approved by the parliament,” Naseef said during a television program.
She pointed out that there is a catastrophic paper added to the general budget of the state without the parliamentarians have no knowledge of it and passed the presidency of Parliament and the supervisory and executive bodies without any notice of its existence.
“The parliament will have a firm stance on the issue of fraud within the budget, after the results of the investigation by the investigative committee that was formed today in front of the eyes of all political blocs.”
