Earth News / Today, Tuesday, the representative of the Sadiqoon bloc, Zainab al-Moussawi, called for the trial of former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi for the crime of stealing the century and obscene wealth, while calling for the matter to be conducted publicly in the center of the capital.
Al-Moussawi said in a statement, received by Earth News, that “after the international red flags about the involvement of the former Minister of Finance, Ali Allawi, the director of Al-Kazemi’s office, Mashreq Abbas, and Raed Jouhi, there is some evidence indicating that the former Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, is the main one involved in the theft of tax secretariats.” .
Al-Moussawi indicated that “the theft of tax secretariats is considered one of the largest thefts in the history of Iraq, until the hands of criminals infiltrated the pockets of the Iraqi people, with the planning and guidance of Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, who was at the head of the previous government that witnessed that crime.”
Al-Moussawi called for “the trial of Al-Kazemi, Allawi, Abbas, Juhi, and all those involved in the case of stealing the century in a public place in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, to be a deterrent to anyone who authorizes himself to steal public money.”
