President of the Republic Abdul Latif Rashid stressed today, Sunday, the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between Baghdad and Washington according to paths that include the energy, education and economic sectors, during his meeting with Elena Romansky, the US Ambassador to Iraq, on the occasion of the end of her work.
Rashid Ward’s office said in a statement to the Mail that the latter “received the Baghdad Palace, Elena Romansky, the US Ambassador to Iraq, on the occasion of the end of her work .”
According to the statement, Rashid expressed his wishes for Romanski’s success in her upcoming mission, stressing the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries along paths that include the energy, education and economic sectors, in addition to the political and security fields .
In turn, Romanski stressed, “Her country will continue joint cooperation with Iraq in all fields, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and contributes to the stability of the region .”
