Agencies – The Wall Street Journal reported the US today, “said Chinese experts in the nuclear field estimates suggest that North Korea has 20 nuclear warheads and has sufficient capacity to double that number by 2016″.
The newspaper said this information is transferred to the US by Chinese experts during a meeting last February.
The newspaper quoted a specialist in North Korea’s nuclear program, Siegfried Hecker Affairs, which was participated in the February meeting: “The challenge for the international community to persuade Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear arsenal does not stop growing.”
He added: “The more convinced that they have a nuclear arsenal is fully operational and dissuasive, the more difficult to convince them to abandon it.”
