Nijaifi discusses with head of Integrity Committee, investigation of CBI
Baghdad(IraqiNews.com) -The Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with the head of the Integrity Committee, Alaa Jawad, the investigation of the Central Bank ofIraqand the means of cooperating with its new administration.
A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com “Nijaifi assured his support to the Integrity Committee and the Supreme Judicial Council especially in the case of the CBI because it is a national case that resulted in wasting huge funds daily.”
“Nijaifi promised Jawad to stop the statements of the MPs over the investigations of the corruption issues because they are related to the judicial sides and will affect the investigation process,” the statement added.
“For his part, Jawad assured that the committee is going on in the investigation process of the CBI and will make sue of the required experienced persons to cooperate with the new administration of the CBI,” the statement concluded.
