Jordan announced on Sunday that three missiles coming from Iranian territory had fallen in a number of locations within the kingdom. While the UAE confirmed that the detected missile threats were outside the country’s borders, Bahrain indicated that the sirens had sounded again.
The Jordanian news agency Petra quoted an official in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces as saying that the missiles that fell in the country did not result in any human casualties, while the damage was limited to minor material losses.
In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Wednesday the destruction of a warehouse for American “MQ-9” drones in Jordan.
For its part, the UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority confirmed that there are no indicators in the country that warrant concern.
The authority stated that the situation is stable and that they are continuing to monitor and follow up.
Meanwhile, media outlets reported that sirens sounded again in Bahrain following an explosion near Bahrain International Airport.
Saudi Arabia expressed its condemnation of what it called “Iran’s attacks” on Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Oman and Jordan.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Army announced that they had launched missile and drone strikes targeting a number of American interests and bases in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and Oman early Sunday morning.
In contrast, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the end of the latest round of military strikes against Iran, confirming that more than 300 sites were targeted over three nights to undermine Tehran’s ability to attack commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
