Arbil-and babysit – The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani, the continuation of dialogue between Baghdad and Erbil on the oil agreement, threatened that if not reached agreement, the province will start to sell oil directly.
Barzani said on Thursday, in a press conference with the President of the Kurdistan Parliament, after a meeting between the government and the parliament, he said that “the Baghdad oil bound by the Agreement or to go to the conclusion of a new agreement.”
“The Baghdad deal with us as a buyer of oil, we have no objection to that, but we should go to the conclusion of a new agreement on this principle,” adding that “the oil accord with Baghdad was in accordance with the Budget 2015 Act, and the Baghdad abide by it.”
The house in the cabinet meeting and the parliament said Barzani that “the meeting stressed the continuation of the dialogue with Baghdad to reach a solution to the crisis,” he said, “and we did not agree, we have other ways to resolve and Sentbgaha and we will start to sell oil directly to insurance expenses and expenses of the Kurdistan region in accordance with the Law No. 5 of 2013″ .
He noted that “the Kurdistan parliament supported the government in balancing the need to secure the region and the salaries of its employees.”
