A leading figure of the Dawa Party MP, 0f the state of law coalition, Ali al-Allaq confirmed that, “the National Alliance did not form, until now, its negotiating committee on forming the next government.”
He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / “The distribution of ministries in the next government depends on the negotiations that will take place soon between all the political blocs, which will participate in the government,” pointing out that “these meetings will determine the distribution mechanism and the importance of ministerial portfolios, according to the parliamentary seats obtained by the blocs in the last election. ”
He explained, “It is too early to talk about the stakes of the political blocs of the sovereign ministries and service, because it depends on the number of points for the blocs, the importance of the ministry, and future understandings between the blocs and the components of Iraq.”
He continued: “We are, as state of law coalition, waiting for the parties of the National Alliance, to submit their candidates for the sake of completeness of the negotiating committee to begin dialogues with the rest of other political blocs to form the next government,” ./ end
