Said the cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, said Friday, “It’s hard to say I’m OK on the American intervention in Iraq.
He said al-Sadr in a press statement today, “should not interfere with the United States in the affairs of the country,” expressing his lack of opposition to help friendly nations and humanity to Iraq if requested by the Iraqi government to do so. “Noting that he” would prefer not to intervene occupied countries in Iraqi affairs, “stressing by saying that “It’s hard to say that I agree with the intervention of America, they are still an occupied country.”
He added that “if the assistance of friendly countries humanity are ok, if the request of the government and approval.”
President Barack Obama, had confirmed Thursday [14 August 2014], that the air strikes would continue in Iraq to protect Americans and American installations, in what was considered that the situation in Iraq remains dire because of the organization “Daash.”
