MPs in response: voting to raise the flag of Kurdistan in Kirkuk is a positive step for the application of Article 140

MPs considered the Kurds from Kirkuk province, Tuesday, that the vote on the decision to raise the flag of the Kurdistan region as well as the Iraqi flag in the province, “a positive step” for the application of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution.
The MP said Ribawar Taha during a press conference held at the parliament building with the participation of deputies Krad from Kirkuk province, he said that “the Kurds Kirkuk blessing for their children and for all nationalities to raise the Kurdish flag by the Iraqi flag, which was voted on by the provincial council majority,” noting that “this decision is a positive step for the application of Article 140 of the Iraqi Constitution and the normalization of the atmosphere between its components. ”
Taha said: “We deputies from the Kurdish Kirkuk component support the Kirkuk Provincial Council’s decision to maintain and affirm the rights of all its components.”
