The leftist said in a press statement that “the House of Representatives’ oversight work is obstructed due to the power of corruption and its influence within the political process. Any parliamentary move is obstructed. There is real political protection for corruption and the corrupt.”
He added, “The House of Representatives has no real oversight work, and political protection prevents the representatives from opening the door to corruption files or activating the interrogation files. There are interrogation requests that have been delayed for months, and this has made the parliament dead in terms of oversight.”
