More than a billion dollars in sales from the Central Bank of Iraq during the week

Shafaq News/ The total sales of hard currency in US dollars by the Central Bank of Iraq, which opened the auction last week, amounted to more than one billion dollars.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent stated that the Central Bank sold during the past week and for the 5 days in which the auction was opened, one billion, 471, 1,926 thousand, and 650 dollars, at a daily rate of 294 million, 385 thousand, and 330 dollars, higher than what was recorded last week, in which the selling rate was 289 million, 439 thousand, and 115 dollars.
The highest dollar sales were on Monday, when sales amounted to 307 million, 10 thousand, and 836 dollars, while the lowest sales were on Sunday, when sales amounted to 281 million, 623 thousand, and 107 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that foreign remittance sales during the past week amounted to one billion, 367 million, 476 thousand, and 650 dollars, compared to cash sales that amounted to 104 million, 450 thousand dollars.
