The Ministry of Science and Technology, announced the launch of the first satellite into space in Iraqi twentieth of June, from a base in northern Russia, indicating that the moon will be to the field of research and scientific studies.
According to a ministry statement received news agency public opinion, a copy of it: that the satellite, which carries the name ‘Tigris’ is the design and implementation of Iraqi engineers, would be one of the rules of the Federal Republic of Russia, according to the program.
He added that the aim of the moon to capture live images to conduct research pertaining to scientific studies in the country.
