Al-Ghurairi stated, in a statement to the official agency, that “the ministry will witness a major transformation in the field of digital transformation in various areas before the beginning of the new year 2026, including the ration card, e-commerce, registration of certificates of origin, and company registration,” confirming that “there are more than 60 services that will be launched through the electronic application.”

He pointed out that “an ideal service will be provided to the Iraqi citizen through a mobile application that includes more than 60 services.”

He explained that “the procedures for registering companies will be entirely electronic, and with the completion of the update, all procedures for the ration card will be electronic, and the authentication of the certificate of origin will be electronic without the need to go from one country to another, or from one governorate to another, or to a commercial attaché or others.”

He continued: “There will also be an e-commerce website controlled by the Ministry of Commerce to protect the product and the consumer, and all stores promoting through social media will be licensed like company registration, but with simplified procedures.”
