Member of Parliamentary Finance Committee MP Ahmad Al-Saffar affirmed on Sunday that deducting the salaries of state employees will not solve the financial crisis in the country.
Al-Saffar said in an interview, that “the intention financial committee is continuing with the government regarding securing the employee salary file and is against any violation of it in any way but it strongly supports the review of the salary scale to achieve social justice.”
Al-Saffar added, “Any deduction of salaries will be presented to the Parliamentary Finance Committee and will definitely be rejected because fundamentally all deduction amounts are not significant in order for the financial crisis in the country to be resolved stating that any other solutions should be used away from the deductions, especially in light of the difficult economic conditions that pass Most of the slides are due to the effects of the Corona virus.
