A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Zubaidi, confirmed that the current government continues its campaigns against corruption and the corrupt without any red lines, pointing out that the former Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, is convicted of covering up corruption and assassinating the leaders of Al-Nasr, and he was smuggled towards Dubai.
Al-Zubaidi told Al-Maalouma, “Al-Sudani did not put any red lines in front of him to hold the corrupt and those who harmed public money accountable, as they will be held accountable, including Al-Kazemi and Abu Ragheef, as many files are still available before the judicial authorities.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi was smuggled and expelled from the country through Kurdistan and towards Dubai with the aim of evading accountability and punishment, especially since this character is guilty of many files, in addition to being the direct official in the state, in addition to the connection of cases between him and Abu Ragheef, who headed the investigation committee in corruption cases.”
And he indicated that “Al-Kazemi is convicted of corruption, infiltrating the security services, and assassinating the leaders of Al-Nasr, which prompted him to flee undercover from Iraq towards the region and then to the UAE, and if he is not convicted, then he is covering up many cases of corruption.”
