The spokesman for the Popular Legal Movement, Muhammad Al-Sahaf, accused the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, today, Wednesday, of blatant interference in Iraq’s internal affairs.
Al-Sahaf told Al-Maalouma Agency, “The American ambassador is blatantly interfering in Iraq’s internal affairs,” indicating that “Romanowski has exceeded diplomatic norms.”
He added, “The repeated statements of the American ambassador carry hidden intentions to destabilize the internal situation and stir up strife among the components of the Iraqi people.”
He added that “these statements represented interference in Iraq’s internal affairs and a departure from the etiquette of diplomatic representation.”
