(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The legal expert, Tariq Harb, President of the Republic, Barham Salih, called for adherence to the law regarding the issue of replacing Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi.
Harb said in a press statement, “There are two ways to replace Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zorfi, and they are either that the House of Representatives refuse to give confidence to the ministerial cabinet that he will provide, or that Al-Zorfi waive the assignment.”
He stressed that “there is no authority neither to the President of the Republic nor to the House of Representatives to replace Zarrafi except through these two methods, indicating that the President of the Republic does not make any concessions in such cases, and that any substitution must be by legal means so that it is not subject to criticism and accuse him of violating the law In the event that he replaced Zarfi. ”
Harb added that “the President of the Republic must adhere to the law in this matter.”
