The State of Law coalition confirmed, on Wednesday, that the parliamentary elections that took place last October were marred by a lot of fraud and manipulation, noting that the opposition forces accepted the decision of the Federal Supreme Court in order to preserve Iraq.
Member of the coalition, Duha al-Qusair, said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “the electoral process was marred by many failures, fraud and manipulation,” noting that “our acceptance of the Federal Court’s decision is to preserve the country from external dangers.”
She added, “It is no secret to anyone that the parliamentary elections were marred by fraud and manipulation,” noting that “the next government will be consensual to get out of the political crisis.”
Al-Qusayr, a former deputy, warned that “the delay in forming Al-Jadeeda may reflect negatively on the economic reality.” finished/25pm
