On Monday, MP from the State of Law coalition, Muhammad Al-Shammari, ruled out the passage of the presidency and the ministers, unless an agreement is reached between the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement.
Al-Shammari told the agency, “The Information”, that “opening the door to candidacy again for the presidency of the republic will not represent the solution to the current political impasse,” wondering, “How will the president of the republic pass with the political process in the country halting.”
He added, “Passing a certain personality for the presidency is an important and difficult issue, as it will task the political blocs with forming the new government.”
The representative of the State of Law coalition explained that “the political issue is resolved by an agreement between the Sadrist movement and the coordination framework and the unification of the Shiite house to pass the rest of the other presidencies,” noting that “all presidential files as the president of the republic and the formation of the new government will pass through the framework agreement and al-Sadr.”
Al-Shammari called “the Sadrist movement to the necessity of moving the political stalemate and proceeding with the formation of the government to serve the interests of the Iraqi people.” Ended /
