Latest developments in the budget.. Al-Sudani enters the line of manipulation and accuses 3 representativesPrime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani informed the House of Representatives to investigate the manipulation of budget tables.

Secretary-General of the Generations Gathering, Mohammed Al-Sayhoud, said during his hosting on the {Free Talk} program broadcast on Al-Furat satellite channel this evening, that: “Three representatives are accused of tampering with the budget tables after the vote and signed by the presidency of the House of Representatives.”
He added, “The government is the one who revealed the issue of tampering with the budget tables and the difference is around 3 and a half trillion dinars, and Al-Sudani informed the House of Representatives to form a committee to investigate the tampering.”
Al-Sayhoud noted, “Waiting for the report of the investigation committee, and legally confidence will be withdrawn from them if it is proven that they tampered with the tables.”
The parliamentary finance committee had revealed different budget tables before and after its approval, with a difference of 15 trillion dinars.
Committee member Moeen Al-Kazemi told {Al-Furat News} that the budget tables that arrived from the Council of Ministers and were approved inside the parliament are the same as the government tables; therefore, the letter that we received from the Council of Ministers states that the tables that were referred after the vote have a big difference and discrepancy in some sections, reaching 15 trillion dinars.
He added that the spending budget amounts to 211 trillion dinars; But the tables signed by the parliament presidency and sent to the cabinet read 226 trillion dinars.
Al-Kadhimi explained that the prime minister’s office sent the table signed by the parliament presidency, which included:
– An increase in the amount of the ration card by 5 trillion dinars.
– An increase in oil revenues by 5 trillion dinars.
– A reduction in fees by 5 trillion dinars.
– In addition to financial increases for the Ministry of Electricity and some governorates.
